This front page has been more of a satire of our elected officials. A way to call them on the carpet for not listening or their lack of response or action when dealing with the problems they were elected to take care of. We the people are the ones that put these people in office. We should hold them accountable for what they do. When they fail us. We need to remember it come election time. But continue to remind them while they are supposed to be serving in our interest. Not their own. So contained within the links above are examples of failures. None of which couldn't have been easily solved had someone in government or our employ (We are the taxpayers paying their salaries.) done their job. In many cases it seems it would have been easier to to their job than it was to try to keep from doing it.
My standing challenge. Prove anything I've written to be incorrect or false. (based on published sources.) (I've used many things that were written in the Flint Journal so some thing may not be 100% accurate) I will publish an apology, If I do not I will post why. So let's not argue of semantics. We'll just stick to new sources and informational websites. Just click talk to me at the bottom of the page or in the menu. I contend that this will be difficult to do. Since I usually post my sources. My apologies for not doing that with the first posts.

Meet Mickey Mayor. While he wields a mean paint brush and can repave a road like nobodies business. We still wait for him to get a grip on crime and the City of Flint's Police Dept. I mean... what good is it to keep painting and paving just makes it neater and easier for criminals to stay in business. To be fair. Crime is not his fault. However, letting crime increase 30 percent in just two years. Following ten years of decreases. Is his fault. Yet in his 2006 State of the City address he announced "..A MAJOR REDUCTION IN CRIME IN 2005" Yet crime went up 17% in 2004 and then 12% in 2005. Funny, I didn't know an increase really means a "MAJOR REDUCTION"? HUH? Check out Don's Dictionary. The Flintskinny has done some excellent parodies of this guy. I may have to start page with everything that he has said that is contrary to the truth.

Ok, Chief Hagler hasn't
actually said this to me. As a matter of fact, I have called him about 5
times and was only able to leave messages. (No responses yet... and I'm
not holding my breath.) Well I can now say that's changed. After
appearing on the Eric Mayes show and mentioning that I have never
received a response. I called and received a response. The next day, I did get a return phone call. I have still had to resort to FOIA
requests to get real information. But at least now thanks to Eric's
show. I'm at least getting phone calls answered. (This happens only in Flint.) |
