I was catching up on older Council meetings that I hadn’t watched yet. My mouth dropped as I heard one of the real GEMS I rarely here from City Council people. Ms. Poplar was responding to some comments on Crime. While I don’t believe for a second that the Governor or Brenda Clack really give a Crap about crime in Flint. Considering, I’ve gotten nothing Back from Ms. Clack and I get Blow off’s from the Governors office, telling me that they can help me get in contact with officials locally. But, She has no authority to do anything about lack of crime enforcement I Flint. Now, ALL OF A SUDDEN, Flint “is a Jewel” to her? Three different letters to the governor, (and I wish I still had them so I could post her offices WORD FOR WORD responses) and now she is going to have helicopters flying over flint? Forgive me If I say “I’ll believe it when I see it.” So, now that I’ve got that off my chest. I must say. Ms. Poplar said it true. I almost fell out of my chair when she said it. “but ya got to get rid of crime before anyone is gonna come here” EXACTLY!! I couldn’t have said that better myself. Oops. I’ve already said before. I just love it when people finally come around to my way of thinking. |
