Double-dealing to the East Side! Or should it be Double-screwing?

Greater Eastside Community Association is being sued by the city. Because, the Mayor refused to pay them to complete the project. HUH?

Yes it is true. When the Mayor was out conducting his own "Federal Grand Jury" investigations into area non-profits. He failed to pay Greater Eastside Community Association to rehabilitate housing on the eastside of Flint. So because he failed to pay them, the City lost the 1.4 million in HUD funds and is now suing Greater Eastside Community Association because he didn't pay them. Does this make any sense to anyone? So our "On top of city spending Mayor" is going to throw away more money on top of the 1.4 million he lost. To sue, Greater Eastside Community Association for something he failed to do.

Why does he get away with this. Well, In order to explain in depth the Double-dealing. It begins to sound as if something doesn't make sense. I believe people believe the "Big Lie" over the "Small Truth" because they are lazy. It is so much easier to bury your head in the sand and accept the Lie. Than it is to believe the truth. Because, Lies and Truth do not mix. Honest people, do not accept lies and take action.

Take the Ombudsman. This should have never have become an issue. Had the wording not been so deceptive. We would not have had to put any effort into retaining the office. However, because of all the double-dealing by the Council and Administration. People had to band together and WORK at informing people about the issue. I believe this is how Government get's away with sending jobs overseas, and making idiotic laws like the Seat Belt Tax, and whether you have neon lights under your car. With all the Important issues facing us. Government has too much time on their hands if they can waste it dreaming up and hashing out these types of laws.  (But now I'm on a rabbit trail, back to the subject).

There is just too much apathy among the population or we've grown to expect that our government lies to us and it is just a fact we have to live with. I don't accept that. That's why I put in my Resume for Ombudsman. To truly work for the people. Watch dog for injustice. Actually make government accountable to the people.

Citizen of Flint! Are you really going to allow this to go on?
