FLINT - A woman is suing Flint police Officer David Collardey on claims
he abducted her and inappropriately touched her during a search this
month.
Kurston M. Congdon, 19, is suing on claims of ethnic intimidation,
civil rights violations, assault, false arrest and imprisonment and
invasion of privacy.
The city of Flint is also named in the suit, which seeks in excess of
$100,000.
Flint police said last week they are investigating Congdon's claims
that Collardey searched her, ordered her into his personal car, then drove
her to her mother's home to search her garage for drugs.
The lawsuit was filed Monday in Genesee County Circuit Court by Flint
attorney Tom R. Pabst.
