See I Told You So!

I told you back in October http://www.cityofflint.net/Crime.htm That this sign would be replaced soon. I  just noticed it today. 4/19/2006.

This was done back in August of 2003. The Criminal who police have identified, still hasn't paid for this crime or the one where he stole the gun to shoot the holes in the sign.

Just noticed this today. just as I predicted. Don's idea of fighting Crime in Flint is to cover it up or make it look like it never happened.

Don't go after the criminal. Let's go after the junk yard buying the scrap. But, leave the criminals alone, that are stealing your Siding and Plumbing.

Let's fine the person (Victim) whose car was stolen in Flint. But, not even attempt to get the guy you stole it.

We'll offer a reward for Guns used in crimes. But, don't bother to take the guns out of the hands of those who stole them, even when they know who it is. I guess it doesn't make sense to prevent more crime by arresting someone for their current crime.

Then local leaders blame "lack of community involvement" in helping solve crimes or on Don't Snitch T-Shirts, Unemployment or poverty. Then laugh at citizens when they call police and report a crime.

We'll have three patrol cars and officers out running down a thirteen year old throwing rocks at a boarded up abandoned house. Then claim there's not enough officers to respond when someone is breaking into your house.

You'll blame public reluctance to testify on a "conspiracy of silence". But, when the victim wants to press charges or are willing to prosecute. Police tell them it's in their best interest to "let it go."

What is it going to take for Flint Residents to say. "Enough is Enough!"  "We demand accountability!"

Oh, By The Way. I would like to thank Don Williamson for replacing that stop sign. It was so hard to tell that we where supposed to stop at it with all the bullet holes in it.
